The Sportsmen Retreat is hosted by Lake Texoma Baptist Youth Camp in Pottsboro, Texas and was created as a way for Christian Men to separate themselves to God away from the distractions of the world and focus their minds on God's word, christian fellowship and godly fun.

There will be plenty of opportunity to spend meditating on the Scripture, enjoying Christian Fellowship and experiencing the great outdoors as we engage in some of the most popular outdoor activities a man can; from shooting clay pigeons, to wrestling a catfish in to shore, it is sure to be remebered. WE PRAY that this retreat will be a refreshment to you!

We can't wait to see you on the Lake!

The Men's Retreat begins on Thursday, Apr. 3rd with a Chuckwagon Dinner at 7pm around the campfire. You can come as early as 5pm to enjoy the fresh air and get settled in before dinner. We will then move to the Conference Center for some singing and preaching. After that, it's off to bed. Be sure to bring your bed-roll and personal items needed for showering. Don't forget your towel!

On Friday morning, those who have scheduled a guided fishing trip or brought their own boat will head out for the morning catch. Everyone else will be able to stay on the property and fish from the shoreline, shoot clays, or just enjoy fellowship and all that Lake Texoma Baptist Youth Camp has to offer. Boaters are welcome to bring their own boats and fish the Famous Lake Texoma on their own schedule.

We will meet back for a fantastic spread for lunch. Afternoon activities will be available until the dinner bell rings at 6:00 pm for DINNER. The final meeting of the day will begin at 7 pm with a call to prayer for America. We will then recognize some award winning sportsmen and will hear some great Bible preaching and singing. Feel free to bring your stringed instruments to help with music.

Saturday morning a Big Ol' Breakfast will be served at 8:00am with the closing service starting at 9:00am. Feel free to "head for the house" anytime you'd like, as long as it's before noon.

We hope to see you at the Lake!
